I'm so glad my doctor came through quickly because I never want to touch one of those $100+ POSs again. Like AutoSleep, it can sync your data to Apple Health and will automatically log sleep when activated on the iPhone app. The app shows you a start button, a stop button, and a little blue chart to display your sleep patterns. Holy shit, it was awful: We already know the heart monitor isn't as accurate and doesn't show HR over time at a glance it wasn't comfortable if I wore it as tight as I prefer I had a reaction I could only set one timer at a time (I use multiple at work) and the raise-to-wake function was hella unresponsive. The app is simple and clear, providing basic reports and visuals that are easy to understand. While I was waiting on my doctor's note to excuse my watch, I had to wear a FitBit (went with the Inspire because it was the cheapest).
2016? for a heart condition (cheaper than a heart monitor). Most people just suck it up and give up on ring streaks, but I got my watch back in. They're pretty thorough about checking for phones, so that's not really a concern, but it isn't really fair to people who don't have cellular Apple Watches or plans for their watches (shit, most carriers still don't even offer the service). However, since Apple Watches are the best known, they are pretty much the only ones targeted - plenty of people got away with FitBit Versas, which can place calls when someone's phone is nearby. Unfortunately, the higher ups are technology illiterate and stubborn, so they made a blanket ban on smart wearables.
I work in a secure facility, so most employees can't have devices that send/receive calls or texts.
